McCONACHY CONSISTENT lindrums lead reduced In ths continuation of the IS,OOO-up billiards match between McConachy and Lindrum yesterday some spectacular breaks were made by both players, but the New Zealander played a more consistent game than his opponent, and managed to reduce Lindrum’s lead to afternoon session scores were: W Lindrum, 14,157. Breaks, 382, 440. C. McConachy, 13.296. Breaks. SO, 152, 130, 100, 152, 85 and 166. The evening session attracted a large attendance. Lindrum was first to make a break and after running up 189 missed an easy pot. McConachy then made four breaks nearing the century and earned applause for some excellent shots. The Australian soon hit form and knocked np a tine break of 325, which included mostly nursery cannons. He scored Just on two centuries by this method along the top cushions. The session scores were: ff. Lindrum. 15,000 (in play). Breaks, IS9. 328. 62 unfinished. C McConachy. 14,070. Breaks, 136, Ml, 144.
