IN TWO SPRINTS

THOSE that like to get in early A on the “good things” take the chance of getting left, but they still persist in taking the risk. There are two races at Ellerslie on Saturday that have attracted the good sprinters, and a few have been accepted for in each event. These races are the Shorts and Flying Handicap, and horses engaged in both are Benzora, Kaiti and Master Doon. The first pair are likely to be fancied in whichever contest they take on, and early backers will be well advised to wait for a lead before taking the plunge.
