Spring Fashions Arrive in Time for Ellerslie

Frills and Flares Floating visions of chifl'oh and georgette, floral patterned fabrics and befrilled and ruffled frocks will make Ellerslie racecourse an enchanted spot at the racing occasions of this season. The exquisitely dainty modes that will flaunt their beauty round the grassy lawns and brilliant flower beds of Auckland’s charming racecourse will be almost universally examples of the art of draping and will ring the death-knell of the severely simple modes of the past. Skirt tiers with uneven lines forming graceful side drapes and flares and large scalloped capes and collars will be carried out with brilliant bindings to tone with the flowers that bloom on the sheer surface of their fabrics.
