PLACED MEN DISQUALIFIED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. Following on Saturday’s amateur cycle race, the Papanui Sports Club has disqualified B. W. Arnst, C. Bearman and C. W. Deans, the three first men to finish, on the ground that they received a motor pace. If no appeal is lodged with the centre in seven days, T. W. Gifford (40min) will be declared the winner, with M. F. Pearl (33 min), second, and N. Berry (33 min), third.
