NOVA SCOTIA ELECTION. A message from Halifax, Nova Scotia, states that at the provincial election to-day the Conservatives headed by the Premier, Mr. E. N. Rhodes, were returned to power with 23 members. The Liberals secured 20 seats. At the previous election Mr. Rhodes's party won 40 seats and the Liberals three. — A.P.A.-U.S. PACIFIC TENNIS TlTLE.—Landry (France) defeated M. Woodson (Los Angeles) in an international match for the Pacific south-west tennis championship by 6—l. 6—l. Cochet (France) defeated Edward Smith, 6 2. 6—2; Boussus defeated F. R. Williams. 6—l, 6—l.
