PICTURES AND VAUDEVILLE Professor D’Almaine, the well-known hypnotist, will demonstrate his remarkable powers at the Britannia Theatre this evening, when he will present for the first time the Hypnotic Chorus Girls. This act is said to be the most humorous ever presented by a hypnotist. „ _ Dorothy Gish, the well-known and popular American screen actress, is the star in “Tip Toes,” the picture made by British National Pictures, Gtd.. which is the chief pictorial attraction this evening.
“MAN, WOMAN AND SON” AT EMPIRE “Man, Woman and Son,” an ultramodern story of newspaper life in Washington, will be shown at the Empire Theatre this evening, with John Gilbert in the role of a newspaper reporter. , _ ._ John Gilbert plays the role of the printing room hand, and later the reporter, with fine understanding. “The Poor Nut,” a comedy of university life, starring Jack Mulhail, will also be shown.
