FOUND EMPLOYMENT FOR THREE MONTHS Affected no doubt by SeniorSergeant Cummings’s rdjiark that Julius Morven, aged 52, whom he had known for 20 years, did not like work, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., found him steady employment for three months this morning. "\TORVEX. a man with no fixed place of abode, and with one shilling in his pocket, pleaded guilty to being idle and disorderly and having insufficient lawful means of support. - Mr. Cummings: "We found him at four in the morning in a vacant section covering himself with straw. He was up here in June for stealing coats from motor-cars. Morven: Give me a chaaiee to get into the country. Mr. Hunt: You have had your chance. What do you think abou* him, sergeant? Mr. Cummings: I have known him for 20 years, and he won’t work. Mr. Hunt: Yes, he will—for three months anyway.
