SEVEN DEAD, 200 HURT
SURAT RIOT CASUALTIES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 10.15 a.m. DELHI, Monday. The Surat riot casualties total seven dead and 200 injured. Fifty arrests have been made. The town is panic-stricken. Business is paralysed, and armed police are patrolling. The fighting was between Hindus and Mohammedans.
