ENJOYABLE COMEDY AT ROYAL

Getting Gertie’s Garter” is the title of the comedy to be shown at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland, this evening. It is all about a s’oung fellow. Charles Ray, who buys what he believes to be a bracelet for his liiancee, Marie Provost. but which proves to be a garter. On the dainty piece of milady’s accoutrement is a photograph of the young man. and also a photograph of bis intended. Then conies the break between the engaged couple, and the bracelet that turned out to be a garter * s metamorphosed into a Nemesis. For toe girl becomes engaged to another man, who is extremely jealous, and ber ex -fiance also becomes affianced to a girl of an inquiring disposition. 'Tho Call of the Heart.” in which the wonderful dog “Dynamite” performs many clever tricks, is the second feature.
