Revenue.—Rates, £14,383; arrears on rates, £1,227; sale of water by meter. £3,018: cemetery receipts, £1,430; Government subsidy on rates. £450; share of vehicle licences, £940; 10 per cent, penalty on rates, £140; refuse fees, £519; petrol tax. £4«t: refund from one Tree Hill Road Board, £750. Tho total revenue. £26.153, was £577 in excess of the expenditure. The council passed a resolution congratulating tho Town Clerk and the office staff on their promptitude in bringing the statement forward.
