NORTHCOTE SCHOOL
Mr. IT. Shaw presided over the monthly committee meeting of the Northcote primary school, held last evening. Donations were received as follows toward the School Sports Area Fund: —Mr. O’Leary, grass seed for girls’ basketball court; Mr. A. Niel, cricket outfit for boys; Mr. Harding, bats and pads; Mr. McNab, basketball outfit; Mr. S. Hurley, box for cricket gear. The newly-appointed cleaner and caretaker has begun his duties and is laying out a portion of the area in gardens.
