BRIDGE PARTY

Dr. and Mrs. E. Williams entertained a number of friends to bridge at “Ulverston,” their home in Remuera, on Saturday evening. Spring flowers made fragrant splashes of colour in the rooms, and were arranged in pretty tints of mauve and pink. Mrs. Williams was wearing an attractive beaded frock of ivory and black georgette. Miss Williams, who assisted her mother, wore a dainty powder blue frock of taffeta and georgette. The guests included: —Dr. and Mrs K. Macky, Mr. and Mrs. H. Corbett, Mr. and Mrs. Moorehouse, Mr. and Mrs. G. Metcalfe, Dr. and Mrs. Griffin, Mrs. V. R. Meredith, Mr. and Mrs. F. K. Hunt, Mrs. W. A. Gunn, I.lrs. George Devore, Mrs. J. H. H. Wood, Mrs. Murray, Dr. A. Knight, Mr. Bach and Dr. Kirker.
