Ue W.D.F.U. badges which ane now! on sale, it was resolved that half a j dozen member’s badges be egrdered 1 meantime. A motion was passed, “That a shop : or sale of produce, vegetables, dowers, etc., be held on October 12, also that afternoon tea be on sale and if possible the weight of a sheep be judged. All members were asked to assist in any way to make the venture a success. Anything which is at all saleable would j bo welcomed. There was a further motion passed: “That members should be allowed, on j intimating same to secretary, to have any social event, such as afternoon ; tea, dance or card party in their homes, 1 for the purpose of raising funds fori the Women’s Division.” There was some further discussion of the rest-room question, bixt this was postponed. A good contribution was made to the funds by a member from the sale of produce and bunches of llowers There were three new members recently, which brings the membership to 64, but the Raetihi branch is very anxious for an effort by present members to obtain as many new members as possible.
