UNEMPLOYED DEMAND WORK
DEMONSTRATION AT GREYMOUTH Press Association GREYMOUTH. Sunday. In a demonstration yesterday afternoon in Greymouth by the unemployed, including over 100 men from Blackball. the men marched through the main streets to the band rotunda, where addresses were delivered to a gathering of over 500. The following resolution was carried: “That this meeting of unemployed demands work at trade union rates or full maintenance.”
