AUCKLANDER’S VICTORY CELEBRATED MRS. MACINDOE ENTERTAINED The winning of the A.J.C. Derbv at Randwick, Sydney, by Mr. C. G. Macndoe with his horse Prince Humphrey, was celebrated at a surprise party given by a number of friends to Mrs. Macindoe at her residence, “Ayala,” Westbourne Road, Re mu era, on Saturday evening. There were present: Mr. and Mrs A. E. Tattlev, Mr. and Mrs. H. P r R. Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Hoyes, Dr. and Mrs. J. Dreadon. Mr. and Mrs. Lisle Alderton, Mr. and Mrs. Don Watson, Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Collins. Mr. and Mrs. Eliot Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Alcott, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Hannah, Madame Edith Baird, Mrs. McCarthy, Misses Betty Jackson, V. Jackson, Tinker Jackson, Hilda West, Toni Martinengo, Jean Lawford, Dr. L. Kirker, Messrs. Donald Gorrie, M. G. McArthur, Ivan Eccles, T. Ralph, R. Hume, T. Maxwell, H. J. Wilson and Brittain.
