FOOTBALL DANCE
The Kitchener Hall presented a very cheery appearance on the occasion of the dance given by the Auckland City. Tramways Club Rugby Football sub-committee. The hall was gaily decorated with multi-coloured streamers and balloons with a wealth of fernery and potted shrubs. Lilting dance music was supplied by Edgar Kendall's Orchestra. Among those present were:— Mrs. D. Griffiths, black frock of satin with fringed skirt. Mrs. Rocking, sage green frock of georgette worn over shell pink crepe de chine. Mrs. A. Christie, moonraist blue frock of crepe Ue chine. Miss E. Mitchell, cyclamen frock of georgette with paris tinted iace. Miss H. Peterson, flame frock of ring velvet. Miss Mitchell, taffeta gown in foxglove shadings. Miss Iris White, absinthe green frock ot georgette with crystal headings Miss Ruby Heath, frock ol cyclamen tissue and satin. Miss Doris Keidy, waterlily green frock of crepe fleuri. Miss Gladys Granger, black gown of ring velvet with diamante. Miss Sheila Moir, corsage of silver tissue with petalled skirt oi blush rose georgette. Miss Edith Heath, black georgette gown with gold lace. Miss Boyd, burgundy red frock of crepe de chine. Miss D. Smith, cameo pink frock of crepe de chine alonza and shawl. Miss Amy Ryan, reseda green frock of georgette with gold lace. Mrs. Feilder, ivory gown of satin du soil. Miss Mae Arthur, black gown of ring velvet with diamante trimming and shawl. Miss Margaret Thomson, black gown of lace with inset panels of chiffon. Miss N. Llewellyn, embossed frock of mauresque georgette and shawi. Miss U. Ussher, emerald panne velvet frock with deep hem of fur. Miss Phyllis McDonald, bouffant frock of petunia taffeta. Miss B. Hughes, apple green frock of lame and georgette. Miss A. Rodgers, alice blue frock of mariette with diamante. Mrs. H. Davies, rose du barri frock of
crepe de chine with silver lace. Miss Maisie Upton, corsage of silver lame with skirt of black and silver georgette. Miss Jean Johnston, forget-me-not blue frock of lace worn over satin beaute. Miss R. Colville, frock of honiton lace over georgette with shawl.
