K. .Wilder, fior the first player to dd • l or better, won the bogey competition with a score of U up. and won the cup for the best gross score over 36 holes All this was accomplished in the Dominion Day tournament. K. LBartleet. with an S 3 in the morning, led the field. Smith taking 90. It Wn* then considered that Bartleet had an excellent chance, but the phenomenal round by Smith ruined it. YV. Richter, club captain, made a popular win in the Medal Handicap played last week. It. W. Thomas was runner-up with 70. A. MORRINSVILLE CLUB The semi-final of the Morrinsvjlle golf championship between T. Ryan and A. Needham resulted in a win lor the latter at the 29th hole. He will meet Mueller or Ensor in the final.
