RANDWICK WORK REONUI’S GREAT MILE PRINCE HUMPHREY GOES FAST (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 12.35 p.m. SYDNEY, To-day. Gallops at Randwick this morning were done on the course proper, the flags being 30 feet out. The going was good. Mollison beat Mountain Prinoe over 11 furlongs in 2.30, and Habashon ran a good six in i.j.6l*. Cimbrian covered nine furlongs in I.5S£, and Rionscup 16 in 2.14. In the Shade led Coercion and Rubicon at the end of 10 furlongs, taking 2.13 ito cover the distance. Winalot and Spearfelt. going nicely, took half a second longer for the same task, while Jeypore did it in 2.15. Fourth Hand led Yodelist over 10 in 2.14£. Amounis went five furlongs in 1.45, not fully extended. BEST MILE AND A-QUARTER
Prince Humphrey defeated The Happy Warrior in an excellent 10 furlongs’ run, done in 2.115.’ Valparaiso, assisted by Genuine, covered a mile from a barrier start in 1.45. Genuine pulled off after going six furlongs .
On tho tan Reonui beat Jocelyn by half a length over eight furlongs in 1.41. The first quarter took 25, the half-mile 49, and the six furlongs 1.15. Limerick led Roscrea by half a length at the end of nine furlongs in 1.55. The half-mile occupied 50 and the mile 1.42. NEW ZEALAND CUP BISOX PENALISED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. Bisox has been raised 51b in the New Zealand Cup for her Avondale Cup win, making her weight now 7.7.
