PAYMENTS TO DAIRYMEN
N.Z. CO-OP.’S BIG FIGURES . A substantial increase is shown in the August, payment to suppliers made by the New Zealand Co-op. Dairy Company, compared with the payment made for the corresponding month of last year. The total payout made by the company for butter-fat supplied during August amounts to £237,477. For the corresponding period last year the total was £219,175. It Is stated that the increased payout f« due to a better tone prevailing on ihe English market than at the corresponding time in 1927. The early spring js r'-so responsible in a certain degree for th«* increased advance.
