CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS The following are the results of matches played: Opotiki Ladies.—Championship final, over 36 holes: Mrs. F. C. S. Forbes beat Mrs. J. B. Eirkmyer, 10 up and 9. Whangarei.—Championship final: W. Thomson beat W. Donohue at the 30th. Waitemata Ladies. —One-club match: Mr. Hay Chapman. 96—22, 74; Mrs. Goldwater, 103—28, 75; Miss Paterson, 106 —28, 78. Play-off in tie for club trophy: Mrs. Hay, 88—15. 73; Mrs. Hogan, 93 —19, 74. C grade: The competition was won by Miss N. Mason. Pupuke Beat* Akarana.—An inter-club match played at Pupuke between the Pupuke and Akarana Ladies’ Golf Clubs, resulted in the home team winning by 7 games to 3. Following are the results, Akarana players being mentioned first:— Miss Darrach lost to Mrs. Craven, 2 and 1; Mrs. McCarthy lost to Miss A. O’Neill, 3 and 2; Mrs. Symes lost to Mrs. Blomfield, 1 down: Mrs. Gilmore beat Mrs. Thompson, 1 up: Mrs. Mueller beat Miss Bowden, 1 up; Miss Miller lost to Miss Williams, 2 up; Miss G. Garr defeated Mrs. Clark, 2 and 1: Mrs. Brown lost to Mrs. Rutherford, 1 down; Mrs. Fearnley lost to Mrs. Davidson, 4 and 2; Mrs. Preston lost to Mrs. Tysoe, 3 and 2.
