DAILY AVERAGE OF OVER 10GALS. The highest yield of milk yet recorded by a cow of any breed over a 12-months’ test is that of 3,73 S gallons by the American Friesian Segis Pietertje Prospect, the butter-fat from which is recorded at 1,1581 b. Ten higher records have been made in butter-fat, ranging up to 1,3941 b from 3.346 gallons of milk; but this latter is only fourth on the list in gallon yield. - One American Friesian cow, Weitske Dairy Maid, has made four milk records of over 3,150 gallons each in 365 days, and her lowest butter-fat return for 12 months was 1,0051 b, while her best was 1,1361 b.
