Hall at 7.3 Q p.m. Second day of the Avondale Jockey Club's spring meeting TUESDAY The Auckland Women’s Institute will hold a meeting and luncheon at the Farmers’ -Trading Company’s Hall at 10.30 a.rm WEDNESDAY The Committee of the AM Saints’ Queen Carnival will hold a dance in the “Symondsville” Studio at 8 p.m. A Charity Ball in aid of the Palestine Plunket Fund will be given at Dixieland Cabaret at 8 p.m. Opening of the Little Theatre Society’s production, the “Round Table,” at the Town Hall Concert Chamber at 8 p.m. THURSDAY The staff of John Burns and Co., Ltd., will hold its annual dance in the “Symondsville” studio at 8 p.m. SATURDAY The Auckland Athenian Club will give a social and dance in the Auckland Amateur Operatic Society’s Hall at 8 p.m.
