“THE ROUND TABLE”
LITTLE THEATRE’S NEXT EFFORT The Little Theatre Society’s latest production, “The Round Table,” will be staged in the Town Hall Concert Chamber for three evenings, commencing next Wednesday. “The Round Table” has a plot revolving round the problem of dual personality. It was written by Lennox Robinson, a brilliant, witty and distinguished playwright, whose name stands high among the Irish writers of to-day. Robinson is a master of beautiful prose, and in addition he has the ability to employ delicate situations to perfection. The producer, Mr. Kenneth Brampton, has secured a capable cast to interpret the play.
Many of the important scenes of "The First Kiss,” the Paramount production co-starring Fay Wray and Gary Cooper, were shot on location at a small fishing village. Extras for the picture were recruited from the local fishing community, and were signed on in the tiny cabin of an oyster fishing vessel. Included in the cast under the direction of Rowland V. Lee are Lane Chandler. Leslie Fenton, Paul Fix end Malcolm Williams.
