AT DIXIELAND CABARET

The usual Saturday gala carnival night will be enjoyed at Dixieland this evening, with dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight. On Monday evening, Dominion Day, an Aorangi and race night attraction will be held. On Wednesday-next, a monster charity ball will be held at Dixieland. Dancing will continue from 5.30 p.m. to 1 a.m., and there will be many cabaret and special items. The proceeds will be devoted to the Palestine Plunket Fund. MUSIC AT THE ZOO The Municipal Band will play at the Zoological Park to-morrow (Sunday) afternoon, at three o’clock. A bright programme includes the marches. "Boyal Order,” ‘‘The Pitt Panther.” and ‘Our Fighting Men”: overture. ‘‘Bohemian Girl”; selections, “Merrie England.” and ‘‘The Maid of the Mountains”; petite suite, ‘‘Scenes in Maoriland”; and other tuneful numbers.
