Weddel and Co., Ltd., under date September 21:— “Butter, Danish, 196 sto 1995; New Zealand, unsalted, 186 sto 190 s; salted, 182 s to 184 s; market quiet. Cheese: New Zealand white, 114 s; coloured, 112 s; market quiet but firm. Canadian white, 113 sto 114 s; coloured, 112 sto 1145.” Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., from their London house, Trengrouse and Nathan, Tooley Street: “Butter, 182 sto 186 s; market slow. Chese, white 114 s, coloured, 112 s; market firm.” AUCTION NOTES Samuel Vaile and Sons will sell properties at their Queen Street sale rooms as under: Friday, September 28, at 2 p.m., a four-roomed house situated in Pine Street, New Lynn; Friday, October 5, at 2 p.m., a six-roomer bungalow on a freehold section, situated in Tawa Road, Royal Oak. John Carlaw will sell by auction at his Wyndham Street sale rooms on Wednesday, September 26, at 10 a.m., a list of motor-car accessories and engineers’ tools. At noon a number of shrubs and plants will be offered. George Walker, Ltd., favoured with instructions from Mrs. George Walker, will sell at her home, 2 Roslyn Avenue, the whole of her household effects.
