MUCH OPPOSITION
NEW GUINEA BILL DEFERRED Reed. Noon. CANBERRA, To-day. The Federal Government deferred the New Guinea Bill, which is designed to create an Executive Council and Legislative Council. There was considerable opposition to the measure. The Government is awaiting representations from New Guinea.
