Greek Leaves Big Fortune To His Niece, Lady Byng

Press Association) Reed. 9 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. pANDELI RALDI, the wealthy Greek merchant, left his entire fortune of ■*" over £750,000 to his niece, Lady Byng. Pandeli Ralli, who was a personal friend of King- Edward, was S 3 years of age. He was born in London, and was M.P. for Bridport 1875-1880, and for Wallingford, 1880-85. Lady Byng’s husband, Viscount Byng, who was recently appointed Commissioner of the London Metropolitan Police, came prominently into the public eye when he refused to pay the fees consequent on his being given a viscountcy. He commanded the Canadian Corps in the war, and was later GovernorGereral of Canada.
