With the form a bit more exposed at Wanganui last week, there is certainly a little bit more to go on when it comes to a discussion of the Avondale double. At this juncture the following could be fancied for the double eveht next Saturday:— CUP.—Mask, King Lu, Star Stranger, Valkon, Nukumai and Royal Mint. FLYING.—Nancy Lee, Silvermine, Oration, Hoariri and White Wings. It is more than probable that the above horses will retain popularity for their respective engagements, for it is not expected that track trials will disclose much.
