I 1 OTHER-JONES l ___— l Stately arum lilies and feathery bamboo fronds made a. dainty setting for a. dainty bride at the Epsom Baptist Church to-day_ when Miss Myra. Jessie Jones. elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Jones, Corbett Scott Avenue, Epsom. became the wife of Mr. John Lansdale Otter, elder son of the late Mr. W. J. Otter and Mrs. Jordan, of Herne Bay. ‘ The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father. wore a graceful gown of ivory satin beaute. From a slender-fitting corsage studded with crystal, the skirt drifted into gracious flared fullness and terminated in an uneven hem with french embroidered motifs in silver. Honiton lace of exquisite weaving was used for the bridal veil, which fell in graceful folds to form a long train, at each side of the head were dainty clusters of orange blossom and silver ribbons. With this was carried a beautiful shower _bou» quet of delicately tinted spring blooms and maidenhair fern. Two maids attended the , bride, Misses Tena Jenes and Mae Langhorne, wearing piquant frocks of mimosa yellow georgette with threetiered skirt. full cape collar and ceinture of gold lame roses. Each maid wore a. deilghtful hat of the picture type in matching tones trimmed with a. swathe of velvet and a drooping trail ‘of. flowers at one side. Their posies lwere 0t primi‘oses and violets with ‘dolicate fernei-y. bliss Betty Dearsley was flower—.girl and her dainty little frock was ‘ot venetian mist-blue petalled georgette. “'ith this was carried a. Vic—torian posy of forgetome-nots and rimroses. . . p The Rev. Mr. Bean was the officiating clergyman. Mr. C. Green was best man and Mr. J. Russell groomsman. - After the ceremony a reception was held at the St. George's Hall. Banfurly Road. where nlrs. A. G. Jones received the guests and wore a distinctive ensemble of black crepe satin and Viennese blue crepe de chine. wlth oriental‘ designs. Her smart black hat was trimmed with blue osprey. and band of black velvet. She earned a osv of violets and anemones. _ p Sits. Jordan, mother of the bridegroom_ chose a graceful frock 'of mexique blue bengaline inset With beige georgette. She wore a hat of beige bangkok straw and carried a posy of mauve and red anemones. There were about 120_ guests at the hall. which had been artistically decor—--sated by girl friends of the bride With gcoloured streamers of blue and yellow: ’und bowls of daffodils and forget-nie--Iriots accentuating the colour scheme of fthe bridal party. ‘ I . ‘____________
