HOUSE RANSACKED

INTRUDER AT HERNE BAY Between 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon and 9.30 o’clock last evening the home of Mr. Charles Reid, Mason’s Avenue, Herne Bay, was entered by an intruder. Entrance had been gained through a back window. Mrs. Reid returned early in the evening and thought that something was amiss. She heard a noise in The back of the house and went to investigate. The intruder must have heard her coming, as Mrs. Reid was just in time, to see him covered that the house had been ransacked.
