Most Powerful Flying-Boat Fleet Now Nearing Completion in Britain
(Australian and N.Z f*ress Association.) (United Service) Received 10.50 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. A FLEET of Blackburn-Rolls Royee-Iris flying boats, the most powerful ever constructed in Britain, is now nearing completion, and will be brought to Yorkshire and used to equip the Empire air base at Basra, which will supplement that at Singapore, assisting the navy to patrol the trade routes.
