The League of Nations Assembly listened attentively and applauded Mrs. McDonnell’s description of the work of policewomen in South Australia, given apropos a resolution, which was unanimously adopted, calling attention to the importance of policewomen as a preventive measure in the interests of women and children. Sir James Parr, on behalf of New Zealand, signed the Convention on the execution of foreign arbitral awards. This embraces Western Samoa.
