H.M.S. DIOMEDE RETURNING. — H.M.S. Diomede, after refitting in England, sailed on her return voyage to New Zealand at the beginning of September. She is due to return to Auckland on November 19. ARAWA AT SOUTHAMPTON. Cabled news has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the Arawa arrived at Southampton on Saturday morning from Wellington, en route to London. The vessel left Wellington on August 4. CORINTHIC COMPLETING. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that the liner Corinthic, now completing her loading at Wellington, sails finally from there at daybreak next Wednesday, September 26, for Southampton and London, via Panama. H.M.S. VERONICA.—H.M.S. Veronica, which is cruising in the Fiji group, is to leave Suva for Vavgu anU Kahpai, Tonga, on October S. From llaapai the vessel will return to New Zealand. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on October 23. THE CANADIAN HIG»HLAN DER. — The Canadian National steamer Canadian Highlander reached Boston on September 3 and sailed the same day in continuation of her voyage to Montreal. The vessel is from New Zealand and was dispatched from Auckland on August 1. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR.—A cable message to the Canadian National Steamships reports the arrival of the Canadian Conqueror at Panama at 7 a.m. last Wednesday, and the departure of the vessel on the same day for Wellington direct, en route from Montreal. SYDNEY STEAMERS. —The Ulimaroa leaves Welington at noon on Friday for Sydney and the Maheno and the Marama both sail from Sydney on Friday, the Maheno for Auckland and the Marama for Wellington. All the three vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday. REMU ERA REPORTS.-— A radio message received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company from the liner Remuera, which left Auckland last Friday for Southampton and London, states that continuous fine weather has been experienced, and all’s well on board. HATKHOLA LEAVES SYDNEY.— Cable advice received by the local office of the Union Company states the.t the Hatkhola was to leave Sydney at 7 p.m. yesterday for Auckland and Wellington, to complete her discharge of Eastern cargo. She is expected to arrive nere next Sunday. RIMUTAKA CLEARS PANAMA.—Outward bound from London and Southampton, the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the liner Rimutaka arrived at Colon on September 16 and sailed from Panama the following day for Auckland, Port Chalmers and Nelson. Sne is due here, about October 12. lONIC FROM HOME. —Due at Wellington nsxt Monday from London and Southampton, the White Star liner lonic later comes to Auckland to complete her discharge, and is due here on October 1. The vessel will also commence her homeward loading at this port, and is to leave here on October 9 for Southern ports to fill up. L. D. Nathan and Com-, pany will act as the local agents. GALLIC’S MOVEMENTS. Leaving Napier to-morrow evening for Gisborne, and Auckland, the White Star steamer Gallic is due here on Sunday evenin' 1 ' to complete her loading under the af#ioy of L. D. Nathan and Co. She is to be dispatched finally from Auckland on September 27 for New York, Boston, Halifax, Avonmouth, Glasgow. and Liverpool, via Panama. KINTYRE IN PORT.— An arrival in the stream at Auckland last evening was the steamer Kintyre from Nauru Island with a cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland* and Lyttelton. She berthed at the King’s Wharf this morning to unload the local portion of her cargo under the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane. The vessel left Nauru Island on September 7 and experienced fair weather for the run to Auckland. Captain Addison still retains command or the Kintyre. The vessel is expected to leave here on Friday afternoon for Lyttelton.
