MUNICIPAL BAND
TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT In the Town Hall' this evening at 8 o’clock, the rich tones of the Auckland Municipal Band, under the baton of Bandmaster Christopher Smith, will be heard in three movements from Beethoven’s glorious Fifth Symphony, the grand march from Wagner’s “Tannhauser,” “Zampa” overture Sibelius’s “Finlandia,” Drigo’s “Les Millions d’Arlequin,” Dvorak’s Slavonic Dances Nos. 7 and 8, and a grand selection from "Tannhauser.” Vocal items will be given by Mr. R. J. Peter, tenor, with Mr. Leo Whittaker at the piano. Booking arrangements are advertised.
