TOWN BOARD ELECTIONS
TO-MORROW’S ARRANGEMENTS The election of candidates for the town boards in the Auckland district will take place to-morrow. The nominations, the situations of the polling booths and tho times at which the booths will be open are as follows: Glen Eden (seven seats). —All the members of the retiring b°»rd have keen nominated, and there are eight additional candidates. Following are the names. W. TI. Shepherd, J. M. West, J. H. Hayes, W. E. Marti a, G. H. Ambler. A. J Routley, A. W. F. Rosier, C, H. Harris H. Tyrrell, S. W. A. Bourne, W. B. Cameron, s. H. Hieatt, J. Bond, F. b. Lane and H. B. Daniell. The first seven mentioned are the sitting members. Mr. Shepherd is the present chairman. The polling place will be the Town Board Office and the Auckland chamber of Commerce and the hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. „ Manurcwa (seven scats). —Messrs, w. T Cox C. A. Fawcett, W. J. Ferguson, \V. R. Frost, G. Gallaher, C. Hammond, C. 11. Lupton. G. A. A. C A. Sexton and F. W. Whyte. The polling places will be tho Manurewa Public Hall and the office of the Manukau County Council. Hours, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Papatoetoe ’ (seven seats). —Messrs. J. G. Browne, J. C. Bryant, S. J. B. Closey, W. J. Doclierty, J. Ginn, G. Hosking, W. Jelfs, J. McFarland, C. J. Mahon, n. J. Morgan, A. Nettlingham, W. J. Nicholson, P. Pennell, T. R. Smytheman, E. S. Sorenson. The polling place will be the Public Hall, Papatoetoe, and the Manukau County Council Chambers. Hours, 9 am to 6 p.m. New Lynn (seven members). —Messrs. F. C. C. Calder, G. Crutcher, H. Greene, I. Hughes, C. A. Shanly. W. L. Titchener, R. p. Ward, W. J. Woodcock. A. K. Woolley, J. Worthington. The polling places will be St. Thomas’s Hall, New Lynn, St. Philip’s, New Lynn, the Congregational Hall, New Lynn, and the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. Hours, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Henderson (seven seats). Messrs. B. Hart, A. E. Hartnell, J. Kennedy, W. R. Leighton, T. McKay, R. Norcross, J 3. G. Rountree, P. F. Johnson, A. KingMason, B. Murray. B. The poll will be held at the Public Hall, Howick, and in the National Chambers, Swanson Street, Auckland. Hours, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Papakura (seven member?). —Messrs. .T. Andrew, G. Boagey. G. Leitch. J. McCall. H. E. McEntree, J. H. Morrow’, W. Rhynd, D. Weir, W. C. Wood. The polling places will be the Town Board Office, Papakura, and the Manukau County Chambers, Auckland. Hours, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Elections will also be held at Matamata, Kaikohe, Russell. Waiuku, Tuakau, Turua, Onf-nihi and Kamo.
