INTEREST IN AVIATION
KEENNESS IN WELLINGTON (Special to THE SUN) WELLINGTON, Monday. A suggestion that a flying ground should be established by the Wellington City Council at the north-eastern corner of the Lyall Bay sandhill area has been given great impetus by the visit of the Tasman flyers. Much must be done, however, before the present waste of rough sandhills can be used. A clear run of from 800yds to I,oooyds could be set out, and that would provide ample space for any plane carrying 16 passengers.
