The New Zealand-made picture, “The Bush Cinderella.” with Dale Austen ir the title role, will be shown this evening at the Tudor Theatre, Remuera. Throughout the production runs 4 vein of irresistible humour, the humour of the wayback country as we all know it and love. Although the story is primarily one of romance, it abounds in humour, mystery and action. Thrilling scenes depict the kidnapping of the beautiful heroine, and a tierce fight between the ruffians of the Tekoa and naval men, who have come to rescue their hero’s beloved. Miss Dale Austen has the leading role of “The Bush Cinderella,” and plays her role with charm and freshness Opposite her is Mr. Cecil Scott, as the dashing naval lieutenant. He has the romantic air necessary for the pan. and his acting is quite natural. DIXIELAND CABARET KINGSFORD SMITH TO-MORROW Judging by the advance booking of tables, there should be a record crowd at the Dixieland Cabaret to-morrow evening whep the four Tasman flyers, Squadron-Leader C. Kingsford Smith, M.C., A.F.C., Flight-Lieutenant C. T. P. Ulm, A.F.C., and Messrs. A. H. Litchfield and T. H. Me William, have definitely promised to be present. Dancing will be enjoyed from 8.30 p.m. to 1 a.m. to music supplied by the Dixieland Famous Dance Band.
