STOLE FOUR COWS

OFFENCE AT TE PUKE SENTENCE DEFERRED Charles West, who had pleaded guilty to the theft of four cows at Te Puke on August 7, appeared in the Supreme Court this morning for sentence. Counsel again asked for a remand for a fortnight, as inquiries concerning further charges were not yet complete. Mr. Justice Reed deferred sentence for two weeks.
