EARLY MORNING FIRE

BIG HOUSE DESTROYED (Special to THE SUN) THAMES. Sunday. Fire destroyed a seven-roomed house owned and occupied by Mr. and Mrs. W. Clark at Tararu early this morning. Mr. Clark was away and Mrs. Clark knew nothing of the outbreak until the building was well alight. The Thames Volunteer Fire Brigade had no hope of saving the building, but prevented the fire reaching adjoining houses. The house was insured for £450.
