NEW REGENT
TOM KATZ AND RICHARD DIX The thoroughly entertaining farce comedy, “Easy Come, Easy Go,” Richard Dix’s latest picture, will be shown again this evening at the New Regent Theatre. This picture abounds in fast moving situations and a human theme, and is one of the most delightful pictures produced by this popular actor. In the plot Robert Parker, a firm believer in the theory that honesty is the best policy, loses his job, and, while searching for another position, gets his first glimpse of Babs Quayle, but she disappears before he is able to meet her. Parker’s life is saved by Jim Bailey, veteran crook, and, in gratitude, Parker agrees to drive Bailey to the railroad station. Parker does not know that, in the bag carried by Bailey, is 100,000 dollars which Bailey has stolen from the bank of which the girl’s father is president. The two men catch*'the train by a narrow margin and, after pushing Bailey aboard, Parker is tossed on board after him. Nancy Carroll, Charles Sellin and Arnold Kent play supporting roles in this picture. An excellent varied supporting programme will also be presented this evening. Tom Katz and his Saxophone Band will present another of their melodious programmes. Although this band is composed entirely of saxophones, the variety and colour of their music is delightful. They play equally well classical music, old-time ballads and latest jazz. Incidental music will again be supplied by the Regent Operatic Orchestra under the baton of Mr. Maurice Guttridge.
