“BLIGHTY” Madge Bellamy. Fox Film vivacious kittle star, gives the best performance of her career in “The Play Girl,” which now being shown at the Lyric and Embassy Theatres. The story, an original by John Stone, deals with the adventures of a /oung shop girl, who decides that clerking at * 3 a week is no vocation for a young tedy with her beauty and brains. “Blighty,” the second feature on the Progremme, is a British picture notakly, not only because of the powerful theme, but by the first screen ippearance of Ellaline Terriss. the beloved stage actress. It is a story of the war years and of the waiting and heartaches of those “back home.”
