OPEN-AIR MEETING

Subjects of interest to Point Chevalier residents are to be discussed at an open-air meeting this evening at the hall corner.

Among the speakers will be Mr. A. Hall Skelton, Mr. H. Tiarks, ex-Mayor of Avondale, and Mr. B. Hows*.

Subjects to be dealt with include: “Reckless Borrowing Proposals,” “Another Great White Elephant,” and baths affairs in the city and at* Point Chevalier. The meeting has been arranged by the Ratepayers’ Association, and municipal rates and borrowing are to be reviewed.
