(United Service) Reed. 1.50 p.m. PARIS, Sunday. Fire destroyed the whole Quarter Bourges.. The blaze lasted throughout the night, and the damage is estimated at £250,000.

The historic palace of Jacques Coeur narrowly escaped, and the worldfamous cathedral was also undamaged.
