PRISONERS SENTENCED
PROBATION FOR MAORI MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, To-day. At the Supreme Court to-day the following sentences were imposed: Arapera Kaiora Hadfield, manslaughter, two years’ probation. Hasley Hector Henderson, theft and falsifying accounts, three years’ reformative detention. Morgan Whittaker Priest, theft and falsifying accounts and conspiracy to defraud, four years’ reformative detention. James Harold Adam, theft and falsifying of accounts, one year’s reformative detention. Walter Arthur Stevens, for committing an indecent ac‘, two years’ probation.
