KAIWARRA LEAVES NEWCASTLE. Cabled news has been received by the Union Company that the Kaiwarra left Newcastle at 10 a.m. on Thursday with coal for Wellington and Miramar. She is due at Wellington next Wednesday. PA U A SAILED. —A departure from Auckland early this afternoon was the Shell Company’s coastal motor-tanker Paua for Wellington, after discharging a cargo of bulk oil from the capital at Western Wharf.

CANOPUS ARRIVING. —At half past three this afternoon the Westport Coal Company’s collier Canopus is due at Auckland from Westport. The vessel berths at King’s Wharf, where she commences the discharge of her coal cargo. KAITANGATA REPORTS. —The Kaitangata, with cargo from Adelaide, Wallaroo and Melbourne, has reported by wireless that she. expects to arrive at Dunedin at 3 p.m. to-day. She will later proceed to Lyttelton, "Wellington and Auckland to complete discharge. RAVENSCAR FROM RED SEA.—An expected arrival about Tuesday is the steamer Ravenscar, with phosphates from the Red Sea. The cargo will be unloaded at Auckland and Wellington. Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd.. are the local agents.

HATKHOLA FROM INDIA.—With Eastern produce from Calcutta, Rangoon and Singapore, the British India steamer Hatkhola is expected to leave Sydney for Auckland and Wellington to-day. She is running under the auspices of the Union Company and is due at Auckland next Thursday.

THE CANADIAN TRANSPORTER.— Now discharging and loading at Southern ports the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Transporter is expected to return to Auckland on September 2S, to complete loading. She is to be dispatched for New York, Boston and Montreal the same day.

RUAHINE LEAVES MADEIRA.— Cabled news has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that their liner, Ruahine, arrived at Madeira last Saturday from London and Southampton, and sailed the same day for Wellington and Lyttelton. The vessel is due at Wellington on October 10.

PORT NAPIER DISPUTE.—The waterside workers’ dispute with regard to unloading cargo from the No. 4 hold of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Napier was settled yesterday and work was resumed in the afternoon. The vessel is expected to sail for Dunedin and Bluff on Tuesday morning, to complete discharge.

SP IN ANGER IN PORT.—To complete the discharge of her cargo of bulk oil from San Pedro, the Norwegian tanker Spinanger arrived in the stream at Auckland at evelen o’clock this morning from the Pacific Coast, via Sydney. Melbourne and Wellington. The vessel berthed later at Western Wharf, where she dischai'ges into the Atlantic Union Oil Company’s tanks.

PORT DUNEDIN. —Wireless advice from the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Dunedin states she will reach Lyttelton from London this afternoon. The vessel will discharge at Lyttelton, Dunedin and Napier, and will then come to Auckland to commence loading for her Homeward voyage. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on October 3. Heather, Roberton, Ltd., are the local agents. KAITOKE ARRIVES. —After supplying the company’s chartered trader Sussex with a quantity of coal, the Union Company’s collier Kaitoke arrived in the stream at Auckland at half past eight this morning. The vessel sailed fromNewcastle on September 7 and met moderate weather for the trip across the Tasman. She hove to alongside the Sussex yesterday morning and after transhipping several tons of coal, continued her way to port. Captain F. G. Bilton is in command of the Kaitoke which was to be paid off to-day.

THE CORINTHIC. —Now filling up with New Zealand produce at Wellington, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Jiner Corintliic with passengers and mail, is to be dispatched at daybreak on September 26 for Southampton and London, via Panama. CARGO FROM LONDON. —A cable message to the C. and D. Line announces that the Port Wellington will leave London on October 10 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington and New Plymouth.

AO RANG I AT SYDNEY. —The Royal Mail liner Aorangi reached Sydney from Auckland at 7.30 a.m. yesterday. The vessel is scheduled to leave Sydney next Thursday and Auckland the following Tuesday on her return voyage to Vancouver.

THE ULIMAROA, —The Huddart-Par-ker steamer Ulimaroa left Sydney yesterday at 1 p.rri. with passengers, mail and cargo for Wellington where she is due on Tuesday. She is the only Sydney passenger steamer arriving at or leaving New Zealand next week.

NIAGARA AT VANCOUVER. —The Union Company reports that the Niagarafrom Auckland arrived at Vancouver yesterday. The vessel is timed to leave again next Wednesday for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland and Sydney, and is due at Auckland on October 7.

WAI RUN A FROM PACIFIC COAST. —Further wireless advice from the Union Company’s steamer Wairuna states that she will arrive from Los Angeles, via Papeete, at four o’clock this afternoon. The vessel is bringing case oil and general merchandise from Pacific Coast ports for dischai'ge at Auckland. Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. Cargo for Auckland will be unloaded at ITince’s Wharf.

TOFU A AND WAI PAH I. —On the return to Auckland of the Union Company’s Island steamer Tofua from Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, she will be withdrawn for her periodical overhaul and survey. Her next sailing from Auckland for the Islands is scheduled for November 3.

The company’s Island steamer Waipahi, which left Auckland on Thursday, is making her last voyage to the Cook Islands this year. After her return she is to be diverted to the Fijian fruit service, and is scheduled to leave Auckland for Suva on October 6.
