TO FAR SOUTH

PARAMOUNT CAMERA- | j MAN WILL ACCOMPANY | POLAR FLYERS. |

Two Paramount cameramen will accompany Commander Richard E. Byrd on his expedition to the South Pole, and one will make the actual flight across the hub of the world.

It has been arranged that one will remain at the base of operations while the other makes the final hop with Byrd. A complete

film record of the expedition will afterwards be released. The Byrd expedition will have three airplanes, 55 men, 100 dogs and several portable houses which will be anchored in solid ice

against fierce storms and high winds. The motion picture record of Byrd’s journey will be screened in theatres throughout New Zealand.
