PALATIAL THEATRE FOR CIVIC SQUARE
“FILM-TEAROOMS” PROPOSED Twenty-one shops, a large basement store, and a tearoom, in which suitable pictures will be shown, will be among the features of the proposed Civic Sauare Theatre, details of which have been announced in Dunedin by Mr. T. A. O’Brien. “The theatre itself will have many new methods of lighting and equipment, which are being tried out in the new Empire in Dunedin,” he says. “During business luncheons in the restaurant, industrial and scenic pictures will be shown, together with special news features.
