Tho work will be finished shortly, and the assembly hall, which is the most important addition, will b© officially opened on October 1. Mr. G. Baildon, Mayor of Auckland, and Mr. A. It will be provided with a fireproof projection room to b© used for the screening of motion pictures on educational lines. The principal, Mr. G. J. Park, hopes that suitable films may be made available. Beneath th© hall is the gymnasium where physical instruction c lasses will b© held in th© afternoon, and at nights for evening pupils. For the latter, a cafetaria and two classrooms will give added facilities.
