ELDERLY WOMAN HURT

KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR While walking across Dominion Road, near the post office, yesterday afternoon, Mis Ada Warner, aged 71, of 18 Herbert Road, Mount Eden, was knocked down by a motor-car. She received head injuries and her left wrist was fractured. She was taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance, suffering from severe shock. Last evening her condition was improving, and this morning she is reported to be progressing satisfactorily.
