UNIVERSITY DEBATE

VISITORS FROM SYDNEY Debaters from Sydney University will give a debate in Auckland next Friday against a team from the Auckland University College. The subject chosen is: “That the emergence of woman from the home is a depressing feature of modern life.” The subject will be treated in light vein.

Messrs. IT. G. Godsall, W. S. Sheldon and N. C. L. Nelson are the Sydney debaters, and are to tour the United States.

Messrs. F. W. Simpson, N. Wilson, and A. K. Turner will represent Auckland.

The debate will take place in the University College Hall and will be open to the public.
